This 4-day Tangier to Marrakech desert tour connects northern Morocco, the Middle Atlas and the Sahara within one cross-country itinerary. Begin through the Rif Mountains and Chefchaouen, then continue to Fes for the first night before heading south to Merzouga.

A camel trek and overnight camp at Erg Chebbi are followed by Todra Gorge and a night in Dades. The final stage passes Skoura, Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the High Atlas to Marrakech. Covering this much ground in four days means long driving stages and early starts; the route is best approached as a road journey rather than an extended stay in each city.
